The importance of the chair in my work

For me the chair is the visual translation of the intersection of my two professional practices: art and design. I have been working as a graphic designer for over 25 years and it was my research in art and my passion for technology that led me to a career in this field. The chair is an object that has the main function of helping to sit and this intrinsic relationship with the human body is shared through the name of its "limbs" such as arms and legs. In my painting the chair takes the place of an object or space that receives either the body, my ideas, colors or gestures. Almost all the works I will present at the Salon de Colombes explore these relationships on the canvas. The salon takes place on November 19 and 20 and I will love to see you there.
